Monumentos de la Ruta de la Amistad in Mexico City for Wallpaper/Phaidon
La Ruta de la Amistad (Friendship Route) was one of the most outstanding projects generated as a result of the Cultural Olympics of the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games. It is the largest sculpture corridor in the world with a length of 17 km. There are 19 concrete works arranged there, which were made by artists from the five continents. With heights ranging from 7 to 22 m in height, the project conceived by Mathias Goeritz, with the support of the architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, became a reality.
